In preparing yesterday’s post, I discarded these because I didn’t want to overload that post with details of too images from the CSNY collection as cleaned up by Bill Hecht.

Some of you much more familiar with Montezuma NY might be able to pinpoint and photograph this location as it appears in 2025.

I’d love it if you would so that we could chart changes, maybe even put dates on all the intermediary appearances between this age of the mule and through the age of the muleless/horseless conveyance to the age of remote and wireless 2025.

Ditto this image of Mechanicville, again a place I’ve driven through but don’t really know.

Can anyone decipher the first part of the barge name?  Is it Peelena?

Wow!  All eyes on the photographer here, and yet he’s nameless?  Maybe you know his/her name?

Was this posed or did the photographer just attract so much attention, as in this and other images in the CSNY collection.

And here, below the real estate sign, where I’d love to peruse what real estate was available for what prices, would this be the versatile Chas. E. Hurd?
