The location here looks like Crescent NY just east of the Route 9 bridge. You’ll correct me if I’m wrong. What intrigues me about the image is the small tugboat alongside the barge. Is that an Ingalls Sea Mule?

Here is another example of the WW2 era vessel. Note the differences between this Sea Mule and the Chrysler ones here. Has anyone else seen images of Sea Mules used on the Barge Canal?

Anyone recall seeing this? Name of the vessel and disposition?
