Here is another example of the WW2 era vessel. Note the differences between this Sea Mule and the Chrysler ones here. Has anyone else seen images of Sea Mules used on the Barge Canal?
Anyone recall seeing this? Name of the vessel and disposition?
The Sea Mule appears to be the direct ancestor of our modern Canal Mules.
Well-phrased, Lee. That IS what makes the image so exciting. You could also call it a descendant of the four-legged ones.
