The physical collection of Canal artifacts and photos is now mostly housed in Port Byron at the Samuel Center.  Work is progressing to make more of it available to researchers.  The image below shows the hundreds of boxes when they first arrived in the Samuel Center as well as after they have been placed on the new shelving donated as Mike Riley comments above the images.
