Here’s an idyllic scene captured on a stereograph by A. H. Parker. I wish I knew more about the three people in the foreground. Two face the camera, and the third is either oblivious or actively avoiding eye contact. An island divides the river, and at least two cows wade in the riverin the distance mid-right.
