I took the photo below at the 2014 Tug Boat Roundup. A few boats to point out include Urger (second from left just behind Buffalo) and Lois McClure ( center of the photo) rafted up between Grand Erie and C. L. Churchill.
In less than 24 hours from this posting, the 2025 TBR will be taking shape, as a number of tugboats with begin the muster below the Troy Federal Lock and then process up river to this same bulkhead in Waterford.

The Canal Society of New York will have a booth near the Hurst Harbor Visitor Center, and I’ll be there most of the day of Saturday. Stop by and say hello. We’ll be center stage and near the music.
I’m again asking for correspondents to send along photos to capture multiple perspectives of the event.
