Might this be the 1938 Jakobson tugboat? If so, might this be a photo taken in 1952 or earlier? I do believe this is also a 1938 tugboat built in Bay City MI. But this one, which has a attracted quite the well-heeled crowd, eludes me. Any help in identification or tugboat or lock? Comments?

To share comments made on Facebook, John Callaghan suggested lock 8 for the location of photos 3 and 4, and Jason LaDue identified the tugboat as Bill Endter. MMUS for 1957 reports that Bill Endter was owned by Morania Oil and operated as Penn No. 6. In 2003, she was scrapped as Fright at Witte’s.
