Correspondent Andrea Seamans reported that Port Byron High School agricultural science students devoted time to planting gardens at the Erie House. These students grew the plants in the school’s new green house. They also planted some hollyhocks on the side of the mule barn!

Andrea reports that follow-up photos will document this growth.

Bravo to these students and their school.

Many thanks to Port Byron students and high school for this work and to Andrea for documenting it. Here was last year’s report.
If you’re reading this and want to tell about new growth along your section of the NYS canals, please get in touch.
