Many thanks to Captain Tammee Poinan Grimes of Colonial Belle for sending me this photo from August 2021 and identifying it. The name jogged my memory.

Earlier in 2021, May 27, I noticed this unusual craft under the Route 21 bridge in Palmyra. I took some photos, and then never followed up because I had a lot going on at the moment.

Thanks to Tammee’s photo, I did a search today and learned this is a “bucket boat,” a term I’d never heard before.

As I departed, this Harcon trailer pulled up.

Many thanks to Capt. Tammee for sending along the 2021 photo.
