Call these unusual animal sights, like this deer swimming across the canal in a remote area between Clyde and Lyons. Had I not been sitting in the wheelhouse with a camera right beside me, I’d wouldn’t have this image.

Ditto this one I took southbound in the Oswego Canal.

Unicorns have been spotted in the canal, hanging out with airy inflations, conveying a blissed-out band northbound in the Oswego as we headed south.

It’s called CAT, and even more amazing, it

claims to be from the wildest-of-the-wild silver mining settlement of Pioche NV.

Call this fish or call it fishers, but the Oswego near the dams can be a busy place in October.
