“2026 Tugboat Roundup Tug of the Year: Shoo Fly Pie, built 1941 and designed as a US Army harbor mine tender! It’s now owned by  owned by Tideland Institute and anchored in Brooklyn.

Fireboat John J. Harvey has seen 95 years of service and played huge roll in 911 rescue.

NYS Marine Highway tugs Margot and Sarah D are too . . .

tall for the low bridges on the Western Erie Canal and Wayne County!

Tugs come in smaller sizes.

Newest in appearance at the TBRs and newest member of NYPA fleet.
